In the spring of 2006, Prometheus Energy contacted IXL regarding the possibility of becoming a carrier of Liquid Natural Gas. That fall, IXL loaded its first cryogenic trailer and began the transportation of LNG.
Despite the bumps in the road of this new endeavour, LNG continues to grow as a great division of IXL. We look forward to many more years in our partnership with Prometheus.
